About the Prestigious Small Business Week Award
Since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the outstanding achievements of America’s small businesses for their contributions to their local communities, and to our nation’s economy. Each year, SBA Awards are given in celebration of the week designated for May 3-9, 2020.
“This is a great opportunity to recognize those small businesses that have contributed significantly to their local communities, developed creative products or made advances with innovative technologies,” SBA New York District Director Beth Goldberg said. “A National Small Business Week award is one of the nation’s highest honors for small business achievement.
During National Small Business Week, May 3-9, 2020, the U.S. Small Business Administration will again shine a spotlight on America’s 30 million small businesses. Through community events across the country, the agency will honor entrepreneurs whose achievements over the past year stand out.
