I have been working with several schools and many parents so far, but Laura, Rebecca, Carla and their love for children and appreciation for B’ZT touched my heart this morning. Rebecca told us the story when one of her sons walked out of the hotel in Las Vegas at 1:30 in the morning. Mothers… we all have stories whether it’s mild or serious. If B’ZT can make mothers happy, that’s all it matters and this keeps me on the road reaching out parents and children each day. Thank you PS277Q and PTA. SHCOOL CODE–75277
“P277Q is a school that serves students with a variety of special needs. We are a District 75 organization that opened in 2013. Since opening our doors, we have grown from two sites to eleven sites throughout the borough of Queens. We service students from Kindergarten to 21 years of age. It is our belief that children of all levels of functioning have great potential to learn if we provide the appropriate path. We spend a great deal of time exploring different methods of teaching to meet the needs of each individual student. Our staff is comprised of a group of highly professional, motivated teachers who excel in working with our population. We provide students with community work jobs and trips as a means of preparing them for independent living and social experiences. Parent outreach is a high priority for our professional school community.”
