Effective March 1st, 2021
B’ZT is designed to prevent missing individuals and give a peace of mind to caregivers. This policy describes what information we collect from you and how we use it to accomplish that mission.
Our B’ZT app is designed to prevent missing people by telling the B’ZT app users (“You”) whether the B’ZT Bluetooth tags (“B’ZT”), that you are tracking is within the Geo-fence range or not. If the B’ZT is within the Geo-fence, the profile outline is green. If out of the Geo-fence, it turns red and the app issues immediate alarms. It is one of the primary ways B’ZT app helps you keep the people wearing B’ZT close to you especially when the people are prone to wander and often get into dangerous situations.
We take your privacy as seriously as you do, and because of that we take great care to collect only the information necessary to provide you with the best possible B’ZT experience.
As you review our policy, keep in mind that it applies to B’ZT ,LLC.’s (“B’ZT”, “We”, “Us”) website, B’ZT mobile app(“B’ZT app”), customer care team, smart clothing and all other associated services that we provide (“Services”).
Information B’ZT Collects:
The information B’ZT collects depends on what B’ZT services you use and how you use them. Please see below for more details. Note that failure to provide necessary information when requested may result in you not being able to fully utilize our Services.
1. Placing an order
Contact Information: When you place an order on our website, and otherwise when needed to respond to a specific request, you’ll need to provide an email address, a first and last name and/or a shipping address. In some cases, we may also require your phone number.
Payment Information: In order to complete your order on our website, you’ll need to provide payment information, such as your credit card or PayPal account. This information is needed in order to process your order and is not stored on our servers.
2. Registering for the mobile App
Valid Email address: You’ll need to use a valid email address and create a password to create an account for Services on the B’ZT app. You can choose whether or not you’d like to provide your first and last name.
We do not identify you personally to other users or make your account information available to any third parties in any way that could identify you without your prior consent.
We may receive information about you from other sources, including through third-party services and organizations to supplement information provided by you. For example, in order to add a profile picture and emergency contact information, you allow us to access your data through a third-party application, such as Gallery, Photos, or Contacts. We may collect information about you from that third-party application that you have allowed when you sign up via your privacy settings. Additional personal information may include your location via third party app such as Google Maps. We may collect your location data that you allowed us during the sign up via your privacy settings of the third-party App. Those information along with the supplemental information such as your user name, profile picture, and your contacts allows us to verify information that you have provided to B’ZT and to enhance our ability to provide you with information about our business, products, and Services.
3. Information from Your Use of the Services
B’ZT username, Name, and Photograph: When you activate a B’ZT using the B’ZT app, that B’ZT’s unique identifier (or B’ZT unique serial number) will be associated with your account. If you choose to name your B’ZT or add a photo of it, this information will also be associated with your account.
4. Location Information
While the B’ZT app is running on your smartphone device, it periodically transmits your Location Information, which allows the app to show the users whether the B’ZT tag (B’ZT) is within the geo-fence or not. It’s necessary to collect the location information which is the combination of to the location data of the user’s smartphone, and the B’ZT. The B’ZT app displays user’s smartphone device Location Information in order to create geo-fence where each B’ZT shows the connectivity to the device.
This allows us to show you, on your map, whether the B’ZT(s) are within the geo-fence or not. If the B’ZT is within the Geo-fence, the outline circle of the profile that is linked to the B’ZT will show green and if the B’ZT is out of the Geo-fence, the outline circle of the profile that is linked to the B’ZT will show red and the B’ZT app in your smartphone device issues alarms alerting you that the B’ZT is out of the geo-fence and needs your attention. It is one of the primary ways B’ZT helps you keep the individual with the B’ZT close to you all times especially when the individual is prone to wander away and often get into dangerous situations. B’ZT helps you prevent missing individuals with B’ZT app by giving you immediate alerts.
Location Information is archived separately from your account data in a way that, alone, it is not associated with your account or registration data. Some common examples of sensitive information include: location of users and names of the users. B’ZT keeps this archival data so we can answer general questions unrelated to any person, such as “How many B’ZT(s) were in New York in 2019 versus 2020?”
We may also collect multiple Location Information for a B’ZT from multiple B’ZT app users as long as they registered the same B’ZT in their devises (“B’ZT Caregiving Sharers”). We do this to provide you with the wider range of Geo-fence coverage of your B’ZT(s) so that multiple B’ZT apps and B’ZT users can locate the B’ZT . These updates are fundamental to the B’ZT family and group tracking, which allows B’ZT Caregiving Sharers to help each other locate missing B’ZT(s).
Your Location Information is never shared with other users unless you choose to share it through third-party application, such as Google Maps, that you have chosen to share via your the third-party app privacy settings.
