B’ZT met with Coach Juan to discuss future collaboration and kids safety. Together, the goal will be to help children reach their full potential. B’ZT will take care of children’s safety of course! Check out their website here http://www.unitedsportsclinic.com.
The United Sports Clinic has the vision to give inner-city kids the opportunity to learn about sports and fitness. They have charity events, such as running to raise money to help children with disabilities. Children with motor disabilities, microcephaly, chronic illness, and cancer can receive the treatment they need no matter their insurance. They enable these children to receive the therapies they so desperately need but cannot afford. Events such as these provide children with the opportunity to learn about sports and fitness while they help other children recover and give them back the life they deserve.
Another event children with the United Sports Clinic participate in is their own version of The Murph Challenge. Traditionally, the workout consists of a one-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, and a one-mile run all while wearing a 20 pounds weighted vest. The kid’s version of the challenge entails one lap around the block, 100 seconds of plank hold, 200 seconds of mountain climbers, 300 seconds of wall sits, and one more lap around the block. Additionally, The Grace Theatre Workshop also sponsors this event.
We look forward to implementing our kids safety plan into their future events, such as the New York City marathon.
