Since B’ZT is a Queens-based start-up business, B’ZT was invited to SBDC Queens College Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, where we discussed the smart school concept. Congresswoman Grace Meng, CUNY Chancellor, and President Félix V. Matos Rodríguez were in attendance. Queens College President Dr. Gail Mellow was also in attendance and very supportive of us. Grace Meng is a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives. She represents New York’s sixth congressional district in the New York City borough of Queens. Additionally, she is the first Asian American to be elected to Congress from New York. She said at the ceremony that she knows QM Art International and the Principal Mr. Tian.
Congresswoman Grace Meng, Principal Mr. Alston Tian, and B’ZT’s CEO Kiyeon Nam were all connected with one common goal, the safety of children. We discussed the possibilities for providing a smart school environment for protecting children. Moreover, this concept would reduce school violence, revolutionize educational material, and create fun and enjoyable activities. In short, the idea would be to protect an entire school with the assistance of our BlueTooth trackers for children. We believe we can make smart schools happen, with assistance from society and community leaders who share this vision. Our children deserve safe, fun, and smart schools!
